Tractor-Trailer Crash Ties Up Traffic On I-95 In Prince William For Four Miles

Some motorists were delayed when traffic slowed to a halt on I-95 in Prince William County following a crash.

At around 11 a.m. on July 9, an alert was issued regarding a tractor-trailer crash in the northbound lanes of the interstate past VA-234 (exit 152), which initially blocked all lanes of traffic, leading to lengthy delays for some travelers.

First responders were called to the area, and as of 11:40 a.m. on Tuesday morning, two lanes were still blocked, with traffic getting by in one left lane.

Delays were reportedly approximately four miles beginning around VA-619.

The crash remains under investigation.
